Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Prepared Foods Cook to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and presentation of our cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars.Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare food items according to production sheets and recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Food Maintenance: Ensure that all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated.
• Inventory Management: Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and follow established procedures.Requirements
  • Product Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of food products and preparation methods.
  • Cooking Skills: Ability to follow recipes and prepare food items to a high standard.
