Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Care Manager - BH to oversee
mental health and substance abuse services in various care
settings.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review inpatient and intermediate care services for
medical necessity and effectiveness
Develop and implement discharge plans in collaboration with
providers and facilities
Participate in quality improvement activities, including data
collection and analysis
Required Qualifications and Education
Current licensure meeting state or customer-specific
requirements
Minimum of 6 years of post-degree experience in psychiatric and
substance abuse healthcare
Experience in utilization review
Relevant degrees such as Associate in Nursing or Master's in Social
Work or Behavioral Health
Licensure may include CEAP, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, RN, or equivalent
